Reasons to Consider Joining An Online Fitness Community

Let’s be honest; most of us spend a lot of time on social media like Instagram and Pinterest looking for a great workout, maybe something different that will give us an edge or some added intensity. Of course, we don’t know if it’s going to work, and perhaps we actually won’t do the workout. We bookmark it as a must-do for later.

Having a community you participate in can often help keep you on track with your fitness and can help to motivate and inspire you toward your fitness goals and beyond. Having a group of people supporting you and cheering you on your journey is one of the most important things you can have.

There are no special requirements like age or size when starting your fitness journey. Instead, you need a genuine desire to create. It’s easy to get caught up in the many mini-workout videos circulating on social media, but what you see isn’t always what you get, and that can be a real letdown when you are on a new path to looking and feeling good.

Plan Your Fitness

If there is a specific goal you have your eye on or maybe a style of workout that you prefer, find a community that works best for the fitness goals you have set for yourself. Again, planning is key to being successful in fitness.

2 —

Choose The Right Community

You are finding the right fitness community aligned with your goals. There are many fitness communities out there, but choosing one just because or because someone told you about one isn’t going to cut it. Remember, you will pay to be a part of this community, so choose a community that reflects the same goals, needs, and outcomes that you have planned out for yourself.

3 —

Trial Periods

An excellent idea is to try out 2-3 online fitness communities before committing to them - mind, body, and wallet. If you find that after a Trial Period has ended and you have not felt a connection, keep trying different ones until you feel that “Fitness Spark.” Remember joining a community not aligned with your fitness needs will leave you feeling stuck.

Reasons to become part of an online fitness community…..

Being part of an online fitness community, paid or free, can help to motivate and inspire you on your fitness journey and, more importantly, help you get accurate results. It’s a challenge to bookmark all those great workouts only to find that you either don’t do them or those workouts didn’t do anything for you. Community Life takes a lot of the guesswork out of the random routines and maximizes your fitness results. Planning + Looking Back to see what’s working and what isn’t provides you with a more precise Snapshot of today.

Community life can help you to:

  • Stay motivated and inspired on your fitness journey

  • It gives you a better understanding of your exercise habits & helps you to make changes when and where you need to

  • Allows you to track your progress

  • Encourages friendship and support with others who are taking their fitness journey

  • Accountability for when you need it

  • It gives you a better understanding of when you need your rest days

  • Educates and keeps you up to date on the constantly changing world of Health & Fitness

Being part of a fitness community will give you everything you need on your fitness journey and allow you the freedom to access and make all the necessary changes.

Not being part of a fitness community can be thought of like this. Imagine taking a vacation or traveling somewhere you have never been before without any information or map to guide you on your journey - more than likely, you won’t end up where you wanted to go. You will have wasted time and effort trying to get there. Participating in a fitness community that you want to be a part of and using any or all of the information that you find there will help you finally end those pointless “barely working for you” workouts on social media and ensure that your fitness journey for life is done with thought, purpose, and care.
