Get Positive To Get Fit

If you want to get fit first you have to get positive. If you have a new plan to get fit and achieve your fitness goals in 2022 the first thing you have to do is get positive.

If you are planning on getting fit and healthy in 2022 here is what you need to know in order to start your fitness journey. It’s easy to make promises and have ideas about what you want to do personally and professionally - but sometimes it’s not as easy as just saying it, sometimes you have to make plans and preparations to make your promises to yourself a reality. When it comes to fitness goals, dreams, and aspirations one of the most critical components is your ability to be positive. Starting any fitness plan or lifestyle change will always require a “positive mindset” to be able to achieve the goals you have set for yourself.

A piece of advice that I often provide to my clients that are working on their awesome fitness goals and begin to struggle is to visualize their positivity - sometimes being able to visualize their positivity helps them to maintain their plan and keep going. I have coached many women who always start with the best intentions and really make a great start both physically and mentally but within a couple of months begin to lose momentum, confidence, and even energy until in some cases they just stop. This happens because starting a fitness plan always comes with great intention but if you aren’t truly positive or happy with your decision to fulfill your fitness desires then chances are you won’t be successful.

Visualizing your positivity isn’t hard but it is a thoughtful activity that is really useful in helping those on their fitness journeys. Allowing yourself to visualize what you are trying to do, what you want to do, how you’re going to do it, and finally doing it is visualizing positivity. It enables you to find positive feelings through visualization to keep you motivated to keep going. Writing down your goals and aspirations as part of your fitness plan is great but for some people, it’s not enough, and taking what has been written and visualizing it really brings it to life - the idea that if you can see it you can do it.

Even in my own fitness journey, I had to get positive using visualization to make it work. Part of my not-so-positive outlook on fitness was I simply did not know where to begin or how to begin and those were truthfully my biggest obstacles. The more I visualized what I wanted to achieve and for me how I wanted to look the idea of giving up my plan quickly began to fade away until the moment it didn’t even enter my mind.

Starting a fitness plan your way is the best way - knowing right from the start what you want and how you want to look and feel is really the only way and being able to see that in your mind will definitely provide the encouragement and incentive that you need to keep going.

More often than not we rely on fitness templates, tools, tricks, and those who claim to know what’s best for your and your fitness aspirations because, in the end, we want them to give us a starting point when really the starting point has to come from you and what you want.
